A pharmacist from West Midlands who was arrested for buying prescription drugs from a patient at a high street in Wandsworth, south east London.
The pharmacist, from West Midlands, was on a long walkie talkie after buying a prescription for Viagra over the internet in 2005, he said.
When he went to buy Viagra, the pharmacist found the package in his hand and asked him to go online to buy the prescription, he said.

The first-ever in its class-action lawsuit against the pharmaceutical giant Pfizer, accusing the company of “negligible and unlawful marketing and promotion of an unapproved use of the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra.”
The suit is an action against Pfizer, the company’s largest shareholder, and a subsidiary of Valeant Pharmaceuticals, the manufacturer of Viagra.
“The FDA recently issued an import-restricted drug safety announcement stating that Pfizer’s Viagra is a ‘poison’ drug, and the FDA will issue a warning letter to all users of Viagra,” said Adam L. Miller, special assistant commissioner for the FDA’s Office of Criminal Investigations. “The FDA has requested information from consumers about the ‘poison’ and ‘Viagra’ risks associated with Viagra and related medications.”
The complaint also alleges that Pfizer, the company’s largest shareholder, and a subsidiary of Valeant Pharmaceuticals “negligently andunited in the belief that the FDA is misleading consumers and the public regarding the safety of drugs for erectile dysfunction and other medical conditions.”
A federal judge in Manhattan last month ordered the company to pay $3.5 million in penalties and fines for misleading consumers about its products, including the erectile dysfunction drug, Viagra.
According to the complaint, Pfizer and Valeant “engaged in a scheme to market and sell unapproved erectile dysfunction drugs for sale to consumers without the proper safety information or the proper labeling.”
Pfizer has made a number of inroads with its erectile dysfunction drug, Viagra. The FDA has issued a warning letter to the drug and warned consumers that the drug may not work for men with erectile dysfunction. According to the complaint, in November 2015, Pfizer and Valeant emailed health care providers and patients in the United States to discuss the potential risks and side effects of their products. The companies shared their information with their patients and health care professionals.
“In December 2015, Valeant submitted a revised list of warning letters to the drug’s manufacturer and to the FDA for the use of the product to the extent that it is indicated as a potential risk to individuals taking the drug or as a potential cause of heart attacks or strokes,” the letter states. “It also stated that the drug may not be used for the intended purpose of treating erectile dysfunction.”
The company also provided the FDA with information and advice to patients and their healthcare providers regarding the risks of using Viagra. The company emphasized that the FDA is only providing information to health care professionals, not drug manufacturers, and that the company does not provide drug safety information to consumers. The FDA does not provide information to health care professionals about prescribing Viagra to consumers or other health care providers.
“The FDA continues to be concerned about the potential adverse effects of Viagra and related drugs, including the potentially dangerous effects on heart health,” said S.
